Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the troth.one website and your purchase of the Troth app. By using the site or buying, you accept them.

The app itself is governed by the End User License Agreement, refunds by the Refund Policy, and your data by the Privacy Policy. If a term here conflicts with one of those documents for its subject, that document controls.

2. Who we are

The site and the app are provided by Troth, contactable at hello@troth.one.

3. The website and our marks

The content of this website is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, scrape, or misuse it beyond normal browsing. "Troth" and our logo are our marks and may not be used without permission.

4. Buying the app

Prices are shown at checkout, are one-time (not a subscription), and are in euros unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are added where required. Payment is handled by our payment processor.

On successful payment you receive a license to the app, governed by the End User License Agreement, and delivery in the form of a download and a license key. To download and use the app immediately you may be asked to consent to immediate supply and to waive the 14-day right of withdrawal, as described in the Refund Policy.

5. The open-source core

The Troth core, protocol, and SDK are open source under the AGPL and are free to use independently of any purchase. Buying the app is not required to use the open core.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the site or the app unlawfully, to infringe the rights of others, to resell or share license keys, or to attack or gain unauthorized access to any third party or system.

7. Your third-party AI services

The app uses the AI services, subscriptions, keys, and hardware you provide. Their terms and costs are a matter between you and those providers. We are not responsible for them.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site and the app are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the site or a purchase is limited as set out in the End User License Agreement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded, or any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in force when you made a purchase governs that purchase.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence.
